• Rummage Sale Goods for Playground Money:  Leslie Watson will hold a TCGIS rummage sale at her house  (3504 Architect Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN) on August 13-14 featuring gently used kids’ clothes and toys donated by our school community.  All proceeds will be dedicated to the playground project.  We’d love your donations.  You may drop them off at school on Friday, 08/06, or Monday, 08/09. The school will be open 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM.  You can also contact Leslie Watson at  to make alternate drop-off arrangements.

• Performing Arts position fundraising successful. Thanks to great community support TCGIS has achieved its goal  to fund a .5 Performing Arts position for the 2010 – 2011 school year. Thanks to all for their support.
  If you want to be part of the wonderful community ownership of this performing arts program it’s not too late. Contributions will fund a budget for supplies for the programming.
  
  
• The German Government has recognized TCGIS as a German Immersion School Abroad. Our school is now a member of the initiative "Schools: Partners for the Future" (Schule: Partner der Zukunft; short PASCH). For this recognition and membership TCGIS receives annual financial support from the German Government.
